Grace Presbyterian Church welcomes you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! We are glad that you have visited our website, and we warmly invite you to visit us in person. Spending time with us in worship and community is the best way to get a feel for our church. We are committed to being faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.
As a local church, we are purposeful and unashamed in worshipping according to the ordinary means of grace. We read the Word, we preach the Word, we sing the Word, we pray the Word, and we receive the Word ‘visibly’ in the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We endeavour to preach the whole gospel. The ‘offence’ of the gospel, Jesus crucified for our sins, stands at the heart of our life.
To be gospel-centred means that the gospel is not only to be the focal point, but also that which sets and sustains the culture of our church. The gospel is the unique contribution we make to a fallen world. So whatever other legitimate activities we support (relief, emergency aid, etc.), the gospel is that which sets us apart. To be gospel-centred means that the gospel shapes and defines everything we are and do as God’s people. Which, like so many good things, is a lot easier said than done.
We want to develop a hunger and thirst for the living God. We try to keep church life simple and to keep church activities to a minimum. Godly homes are more likely to be built if people are at home most nights, rather than run ragged by various church functions.
If you are looking for a church, we would love for you to join us as God grants you opportunity.
